What is DP name, DP ID, BO ID and Demat ID?

DP Name:

Our Depository Participant (DP) name is Tradejini Financial Services Private Limited. As a member of the depository, we facilitate the opening of your demat account with Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL).

In case of all DP’s of CDSL, the DP ID (8 digits) and Client ID (8 digits) are combined to give you a single 16-digit BOID / Demat Account Number.

DP ID:

The DP ID, a unique identification number assigned to the Depository Participant (DP) where your demat account resides, is uniform for all Tradejini customers. The first 8 digits are your DP ID, and the last 8 digits are the Client ID. Together, it is called BO ID / Demat ID. Tradejini’s DPID is: 12076500.

Client ID:

Your Client ID is an 8-digit code which is the last 8 digits of your Demat account number and is crucial for identifying your specific demat account held with the depository (CDSL) through Tradejini.

Demat ID / BOID / Demat Account Number:

BOID is Beneficial Owner Identification Number or Demat Account Number or Demat ID, which is a 16-digit number consisting of 8 digits DP ID and 8 digits Client ID. This Demat ID is essential when applying for IPOs or when generating the CDSL TPIN and OTP for E-DIS authorization and any off-market transfers.
